- charge of $125 (waived if you agree to keep it for two years), a $32
- set-up and monthly of $25.

- Hardware on the other hand is a horse of a different color. Don't
- think of getting any unit that does not have an integral NT-1, the
- interface to the digital line from the phone company. Internal vs.
- external... Externals are limited to 115K because of the serial port
- limits. Internals can make the 128K mark. 3Com makes an internal that I
- could not find a retailer for. I ended by getting a US Robotics ISDN
- Sportster 128K. However, until Microsoft completes the ISDN Dial-up
- Networking for Win95 I can't get 32 bit. But, if you are still on Win
- 3.1, you can configure Trumpet Winsock to connect and use Netscape (16
- bit)to browse. In either case you shouldn't be paying more than $400-500

- Take a look at Dan Kagel's ISDN home page. It has a wealth if information
- about ISDN. He has answered a couple of questions I e-mailed to him.
-
- I hope this is some help.
